#AskTheExpert Hello my child 2.9 yrs male is suffering from fever since 3 days. we have visited pediatric doctor on 2nd day.. he said it's a viral and was pretty sure about it. and he said it will last for 4 to 5 days and will be treated with the medicines he prescribed. but today at 4.30 in the morning he was having 104 fever. we somehow managed to get it normal at home since no doctors is available at that time. can any professional put some light on it.?
symptoms are fever every 6 hours since last 3 days and dry cough.

Or seems like viral only so wait till five days and still if the fever doesn’t subside then go for a blood test and use humidifier in the room and more liquids to keep the child hydrated and light to digest foods and fruits

Hello dear parent! It is definitely viral. My nephew too had the same problem. High grade fever comes either late evening or early hours. Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. It might take 5 to 7 days for recovery. Keep giving sips of water. Serve healthy foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates.
