Hello Doctor,
My son is 9 months old and his body temperature is fluctuating. Last week body temperature was ranging till 101. But from last 3 days body temperature is ranging till 99.5 from armpit. Today measured body temperature from armpit and recorded 98.5 from armpit. What should I do? Is there any kind of test to be conducted.?

so don't worry
follow early mentioned points.
it might happen because of weather change.
Maintain good hygiene

Author of questionFather of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Again recorded the temperature from armpit and it rises to 99.1. I am worried about it. Even my son is consuming lots of water and pass urine every 1 hour.

as such no need of it
but please keep measuring the temperature if it remains 100f or above please consult your pediatrician.
keep your child hydrated
breastfeed your child as per his or her needs,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial infection
dress your child in weather appropriate clothes
maintain good hygiene
