#AskTheExpert Hello doctor....my son is 5 months 19 days...I gave him some banana..I found black thread like strings in his poop...should I continue giving him or stop Banana ...and the day I gave him cerelac he vomited milk..so I stopped it..when we consulted doctor he told to give lanzol junior 15mg half tab daily upto 1 month..

black thread in stool after having banana us common and nothing to worry about it .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and it is always advisable to give baby any semi solid food and fruits after the age if six months and give baby breastfeeding and formula milk till the six months .
