Q.

#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my son is 4 year old, 18kg, we used to give attrax drops 6- 7 drops (0.25 ml) 2 dose a day if he has cold like sneezing or running nose as per our pediatric till 3 years and with steam inhale .. Recently we went to other pediatric he said attrax is allergy medicine , don't give it for cold.. and he mentioned to give attax 5ml .. Not sure whether to give 5ml of attrax drops.. as it seems more in dosage compared to what we used to give.. please suggest.. please find attached attrax drops medicine..

A. As your current doctor is absolutely right the medicine which you where giving to your baby is not for cold and it's for allergy and that is also irritation, swelling etc and you should change your babies medicine and give another medicine to your baby as privious medicine has side effects too.
