#AskTheExpert Hello doctor. My son is 18 months old. He has cough and chest congestion. He is not able to spit out the cough.. and sometimes coughs continuously. Please advise.

A. can be cold so. Cold and cough is a seasonal manifestation of viral common cold mostly and it s very common . Best to give steam and also protect baby with wollens . Take flu vaccine yearly for protection from flu . See a doctor if fever
