Q.
#AskTheExpert hello.doctor....my son is 10 months old nd since 1 week he is suffering from cold nd nose blockage..he is not able to feed properly..i used nasal drops amd giving him indirect steam but its not working out.. please suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. give drops maxtra 0.5 ml to the child two times per day and try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also apply baby Vicks
kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and try to prevent temperature variations on the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and if indirect steam and nasal drops are not working in your baby case then evaluate your baby once with doctor on person and follow the prescription ASAP.
