#AskTheExpert HELLO DOCTOR My question is for my son Vivaan is 8yrs old 6 months. Can you please advise me is it right age to join swimming claas for him. I have lots of questions in my mind regarding his health that due to swimming is there any chances for typhoid, diarrhea and ear infections and all. Please suggest me what can I do.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if proper hygiene is mainted than there is no need to worry regarding any type of communicable disease from the water so whenever the child is going for swimming you have to just see that the location is proper as well as the drainage system and the purification part is normal
