#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my new born baby which is of 7th day now is doing hard potty and sometimes the stool stucks in his anus. the weight of the baby is 2kg 150gm and is getting mother feeding and dexolac special care powder. please tell me what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many where the most important causative factor is decrease intake fiber rich diet along with lesser fluid intake.
sogume food like junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition.
here the diet modification should be tried first followed by medicatihons like lactulose milk of magnesia and muout powder.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Give them lukewarm water every morning. Include a banana everyday. These two are best constipation relievers. Also you can soak raisins in water over night and can filter can water alone. This is also quite effective.
