#AskTheExpert hello doctor. My daughter is 11 months old n she is teething now. she has started biting me really hard while I feed her. not I'm having cuts around nipple so I'm unable to feed her. what can I feed her now also can you please suggest ointment for me

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Try applying pure coconut oil on the paining area. Clean it up well before the next feeding session. Try using a nipple shield while breastfeeding. If there is severe discomfort then consult your doctor for further advice. Gently press your child’s gums with a soft cotton cloth dipped in cold water to reduce teething discomfort. Good luck and take care.
