#asktheexpert Hello Doctor, my baby is having cold since last 8 days and I consulted doctor twice in between as 1st dose of ascoril LS of 5 days got completed. Now sometimes she feels choking due to mucus I think. Is there anything which can clear mucus inside her fastly?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is only two months of page probably ascoril LS drops are indicated for treating cough in the baby you have to give steam inhalation to the baby frequently to liquify the secretions

Use saline nasal drops
Give Indirect steam inhalation
Give adequate feeding
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Maintain hygiene
Maintain hydration
Stay hydrated
