#AskTheExpert hello doctor my baby had cough and fever some days back. After that she was ok for 4-5 days, but now she coughs again and again. one day she is ok the other day she starts cough and the process goes on. why kindly advice

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
