#AskTheExpert Hello doctor My baby boy is 6.5 months old Have started semi solids from a week Giving him rice cerelac Fruits like apple, banana But he as not pooped from past 5 days He is straining a lot to poop but not able to Please suggest

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. this is ok and normal it s absolutely normal for a baby to not pass motion daily . Baby diet till one year is basically milk so even if baby does not pass stool for upto 1 week it s considered a normal thing
