A. Namaste Mom, Make sure he isnt into much of consuming milk throughout the day , as too much of it isnt good and also has a tendency to kill its hunger as well. add jaggery or dates instead of using refined sugar. Dry fruits powder can also be used .

A. For a 2-year-old who is lean and weighs 10 kg, adding protein powder to milk should be approached with caution. Here’s a guide: ### **1. **Consult a Pediatrician** - **Professional Advice**: Before adding any supplements, including protein powder, consult your child’s pediatrician. They can assess whether a supplement is appropriate and if there are underlying nutritional or health issues contributing to your child’s weight. ### **2. **Evaluate Diet and Nutrition** - **Balanced Diet**: Ensure your child is getting a well-balanced diet that includes a variety of foods to meet nutritional needs. Focus on foods rich in proteins, healthy fats, and carbohydrates. - **Healthy Snacks**: Include nutrient-dense snacks like yogurt, cheese, and nut butters to boost caloric intake. ### **3. **Choosing Protein Powders** - **Age-Appropriate Products**: If the pediatrician approves, choose a protein powder specifically designed for toddlers. These products are formulated to meet the nutritional needs of young children. - **Check Ingredients**: Look for protein powders without added sugars, artificial additives, or allergens. ### **4. **Consider Alternatives** - **High-Calorie Foods**: Instead of or in addition to protein powder, you might incorporate high-calorie, nutrient-rich foods like avocado, full-fat dairy products, or smoothies made with fruits and vegetables. - **Regular Meals**: Ensure that he has regular, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. ### **5. **Monitor Growth** - **Track Weight**: Keep track of your child’s growth and weight to ensure any changes or interventions are effective. Adding protein powder can sometimes be helpful but should be done with careful consideration and professional guidance.
