#AskTheExpert hello doctor...my baby boy 115 days old got sudden hairfall issue..i dnt know what is the reason behind this sudden Issue?? im using cetaphil body wash for his body n hair from birth which is prescribed by my doc

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. In the first 6 months after birth, a child will lose what is known as birth hair. This is the hair that a baby is born with, and this hair is meant to fall off. Small amounts of hair fall post this period is also considered normal. Use a soft bristled hair brush to comb your baby's hair. Avoid combing your baby's hair more than once every other day. Do not overuse oils. Do not tie braids that are too tight. The shampoo you are using is good but do not shampoo your baby's hair every day as it can dry the scalp. Mamaearth products are good too.
