#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My 3 months old baby suffering from cold,cough and phlegm. local doctor suggested atm 100 drops. is it ok to clear phlegm and cough?is it safe?

A. Hello , your baby boy is 3 months old and he is having a cold cough and flegum so give him indirect steam inhalation and syrup mucolite 2 ml three times a day

A. if the doctor is pediatrician then you can follow the advice Give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. Try to prevent temperature variations around the child You can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold Continue the regular diet of the child If there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor For fever and pain give paracetamol

A. Hi mom. Yes u can give. Also give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
