#asktheexpert Hello Doctor. can you suggest a medicine for de-worming for my baby? she is 1yr and 8 months old.

Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of agey but it is advisable to gioive this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. BANDY PLUS SUSPENSION is used to treat parasite infections which can destroy disease-causing worms and effectively inhibit the spread of illness. Albendazole prevents the worm from absorbing glucose, resulting in energy loss. Ivermectin works by paralysing the worms and causing them to die.
