#Asktheexpert Hello doc, my daughter is now 2year old... but when she was 1.6 year old she got ill and we have got done her CBC test in which her hemoglobin was 8.1 and out come of that report is that she had Mychrocytic hypochromic Anemia... could you please suggest what should we do to treat this... also doctor has suggested to give tonoferone drops.. please tell the dosage of it for 2year old her weight is 11.7kg.

looks like iron deficiency. get HPLC too. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion
