#asktheexpert he is having mouth thrush and we are applying candid drops in his mouth from past 1-2 months still there is not much improvement in his tongue,, how much time it would take to cure it ? any other precautions we should take ?

A. 1 week after meds this pattern can be seen due to fungal infection in the oral cavity of the child. many times it may be associated with either bottle feeding or usage of antibiotics in children. it is important to differentiate between stuck milk inside the oral cavity and the fungal infection that is also known as oral thrush. meet your doctor for examination of the child and treatment
