Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is tafking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Newborns who sleep for longer stretches should be awakened to feed. Wake your baby every 3–4 hours to eat until he or she shows good weight gain, which usually happens within the first couple of weeks. After that, it's OK to let your baby sleep for longer periods of time at night.
