#AskTheExpert dr. my baby 10 months old now she suffer from cough. i give her syrup but she vomitting. when we give the medicine she vomit.
so i dont no how i give her medicine. when she vomit it comes through nose also so i really getting tensed i dont no what to do plzz dr help me to give any idea to give medicine for her

Cold most of the time is a  viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any  fever uiis there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .

Burp well after evey feeding by holding  your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
