#AskTheExpert Doctor my 4 month old has been getting white spots on forehead since 2 weeks . Attached is the image. Kindly check and please let me know what the spots are. Is this some kind of deficiency or infection? Thanks

A. White spots on the body and face could be some fungal infection or some conditions like pitfdyriasis Alba which is aggravated by dryness of the skin it needs proper clinical evaluation by the doctor. Proper mousturisation of skin is very important and maintain a good hygiene .

A. Hi mommy Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Give adequate feeding Wash area often with lukewarm water Wash hands often before touching your baby Apply coconut oil or olive oil Give healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables protein
