#AskTheExpert doctor can you please say the safest days to avoid pregnancy based on periods... is it ok that 7 days before and 7 days after periods is safe..

A. if you have regular periods you should just avoid having contact from 12th day to about 18th day after and before that you can have contact anytime but it would be better to use proper contraception as if in case your ovulation timing changes you may get conceived
