#AskTheExpert consuming expressed breastmilk - 1. is it best consumed when freshly expressed within 4 hours..or is it advisable to freeze the freshly expressed milk and thaw when needed 2. can the milk be removed at room temperature from refrigerator for a while an then thawed..or is it immediately to be thawed from the fridge 3. for how much time can thawed milk stay out at room temperature, or is the entire batch to be consumed at once 4. can expressed milk be fed by dropper , which method is the best to feed expressed milk

A. Hello dear parent! If you are freezing your expressed breastmilk then it will stay good for 5 to 6 hours before thawing. If you are storing it in air tight container just normal outside then it will stay good for a couple of hours depending on the surroundings temperature. Try using Babyhug stainless steel feeder to feed breastmilk for your baby. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
