#AskTheExpert can you please suggest quantity of formula given to babies of different weeks, if mother's milk is not there ?

sujatapoojaryMom of a 6 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hello starting milk production will be slow but don't stop to the to suck nipple otherwise milk will not create. use similac for infants and quantity is provided on it after using even if little bit is left just discard it ok. but b4 tht let your baby suck 4 while then give this formula

Give 60-100 ml at a time
Give adequate feeding
Take a good care of your baby
Maintain hydration
Burp well after every feeding
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation and
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Take More water fruits vegetables kiwi protein rich nutritious food butter to increase your milk supply or continue formula milk
