You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older children a proper discipline is requirgyued so that the sleeping patterhn can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

you can start setting your child routine.and be consistent with it
for example
nap time, Feeding time etc
keep the environment calm and dark while sleeping
you may use dim light
but avoid distractions while sleeping
make sure your child should not be hungry at sleep time, offer dream feed before sleep
