#asktheexpert Baby fed nicely for 1.5 months but since 10 days has gone on a nursing strike. Cries frantically when i bring him close to me. He only wants bottled milk. What to do?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy9 months agoA. Hello there ma’am. Please make sure that the baby is in a correct position to latch to the breast properly. Please massage your breast gently before feeding the baby. Please check for any oral thrush in the Baby and clean it if it is there. Also, also check for any nasal blockage in the baby, which might be preventing the baby to suck the milk. Thanks and take care
