#asktheexpert aga/fch/ elective lscs birth weight 2.5 on exclusive breastfeed day 51 wt 3.12 I know the weight doubles at 6m but is there any formula to monitor weight gain apart from 200gm/week. how to compensate for the 10% weight loss in the 1st week

A. hi dear Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day. In the first few weeks of life, breastfeeding should be "on demand" (when your baby is hungry), which is about every 1-1/2 to 3 hours.
