#askexperts hello doc my son is 4 month 18 days old he does not poop for 7 or 8 days but he feeds normally and sleep normal is it normal or should I give him some medication ???

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can givecku bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoifded before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
