after giving deworming syrup my son got fever shall I give him paracetamol

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
coldf sponging of the whole body with tap water can be benegficial too to bring the temperature down .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. If there is the weather of course you will have to go ahead with giving paracetamol to the child but I would like to tell you that the medicine has got no connection with your child having fever so you need to be more sure about the right reason behind it
