Q.

After 2 months of delivery i went for an ultrasound because i had loss of appetite, my ultrasound report says my liver is normal but after seeing blood report doctor is telling i have swelling in liver, can it be possible that an ultrasound can't deduct liver swelling?

A. An ultrasound, CT scan and MRI can show liver damage. Checking a tissue sample. Removing a tissue sample (biopsy) from your liver may help diagnose liver disease and look for signs of liver damage.
