It is viral fever so you have to repeat the dose after every four to five hours interval avd give more liquids to the baby to maintain body temperature and keep feeding the vaby

Cold most of the time is a  viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any  fever is there paracetagmol can be given to reduce the temperature and tbhe dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .
