These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature .
You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and and it is better to given baby medicine as per doctor prescription only as it is given as per baby age and weight. So consult your doctor in person.
