A boy child & a girl child have been treated differently by Indian parents since ages. A desire of having a 'son' rather than a 'daughter' is still there in most parts of the country, especially the small towns! Do you agree with this ? Did you also want a 'baby boy' when you were pregnant? Why do you think our society has this preference for having sons & how can it be changed?

A Boy or a Girl? Does it Matter?
both r equal .. both r important actually in practical world.. I have 3 babies 2 girls nd 1 boy... I need both genders equally..i respect nd love them equally...
sex doesn\'t matters but sanskar is vry important ..
smtimes girls also feel us ashamed bcoz of their teenager behaviour nd change in their harmons....visa versa..
never give attitude for 3things in life..
1. our body
2. money
3. children.
these three can change ur life anytime..

both are equal. blessed with girl baby in first pregnancy. and as I\'m carrying my second one now, I\'m ready to welcome a girl again. I don\'t feel this is as curse, as many people are thinking in our Indian society. but everyone congratulates me for my pregnancy and wished me to have a boy. I don\'t know what type of mindset they\'re having. badly want a girl again, because of their stupid wishes.

Yes it\'s true. Everybody want boy and some people are think girls are huge responsibility if their marriage. They can\'t understand baby girl value only they thinking boy is a piller of every home. girls parents doesn\'t give necessary support to their life. They always focusing their marriage not their career. If you reach your girl how live like a true girl they are not huge responsibility of you. They make their own life. We must teach oru girls first option is our career not a marriage. It will be always second. And also both are want. Career and marriage life are important. Don\'t sacrifice your identity for anything. Your attitude is make who you are !! Don\'t give girls, we need fly over the sky and we also take some responsibility from our home. Not only for boy. wr should have to take some responsibility sometimes. we are women. That\'s our power. Just give a wing to your dreams. Then the society also change. The changes all are starts from our home.

we should be thankful to God, that God introduces women in our lives. Only a woman can give us that happiness which is like heaven. A girl or a boy doesn\'t matter, a girl when married to a boy, has responsibilities to make their in-laws happy, she tries to adjust in a different family, when she becomes pregnant, she gets another birth, only a woman can do this. We all have to keep this in our mind.
