Weird sensations on breast

I have this current like sensations on my breasts randomly during the day especially after feeding. I am2.5 months postpartum. Why does it happen and what can be done? Pls share your experiences. The sensation keeps coming in intervals of seconds like a tingling sensation on my breasts.

Anindita Hi Anshu I have similar experience. What helped is applying hot compressor (soaking towel in hot water and applying it in the breasts). I did this 5-7 times, specially before feeding.

how to know my the milk production is sufficient

Hello everyone my baby having 1 month old and he is crying so much when I am taking off my nipple from his mouth even I am giving breastfeed at least 2-3 hour from both side. how can I understand that he suck but milk is coming or not. My Breastfeeding Experience as New Mommy

As being a doctor I was knowing how important starting milk called colostrum to baby. but due to some complications I had to go through c section and I found my breast were not producing much milk after delivery this making me so much anxious even knowing stress worsen it but apart from being a doctor I was a mommy that time who just wanted best for the baby. I wanted to tell everybody it's completely normal to take time for things to get normal after delivery. Just keep calm !!!

Chaithra Athreyas Yes dear. Since baby is just 1month old you have to feed baby whenever he is hungry and gives cues. As per doc, you should feed 8-10 times in 24hours. More breast milk will be produced if baby frequently feeds. Try keeping an interval of 2hours between each feed.

Difficulty breastfeeding my baby due to flat nipples and low milk supply

My baby is 19 days old, I have flat nipples so I have to use a nipple shield every time I feed him. I don't know if he is getting enough milk. I bottle feed him after each session of breastfeeding. How can I get him to latch on to my nipples without a shield, how to increase milk supply?

Vivek Sharma Try to Go naturally without nipple shield. Because if he is hungary then he will find his way. Start trying once or twice in a day. Most Probably its works. Also, if this not works then You can use the suction from a breast pump to help draw out a flat or inverted nipple if other methods to stimulate your nipples don’t work. This can be especially helpful if you have deeply inverted nipples.

Breastmilk oversupply

I am having breastmilk oversupply and fast letdown. my baby is gulping fast and choking whenever i feed him. due to heavy milk supply baby feeds only for few minutes and then stops he is unable to feed well. i tried expressing milk before feeding but only after pumping for half hour the force reduces. this is incresing my milk. what should i do. i cry evertime while feeding him after seeing him suffer. nobody understamds my situation i feel depressed always not even able to eat food.

Can a baby get his tummy full by sucking for 5 mins only after every 1 to 1.5 hr?

Hello everyone...my baby is 1.5 months old and is on exclusive breastfeeding...he sucks only for 5 mins and then sleeps for 1 to 1.5 hrs after which he sucks again for 5 mins only. His pee count is 6+ in 24 hrs,he poops once every three days.I am confused if his feeding pattern is normal or if I am short of supply..Please help.

Baby Farhat It's good that he drink milk every 1 or 1.5hours.He sucks for five minutes only it's means he is weak he gets tired after sucking.so,you have to wash your nipples with warm water before feeding lthen it becomes soft and he can suck easily for more minutes.
