Panagam is nothing but a sweet healthy drink made from powdered or whole jaggery. It is a south Indian recipe that is made especially on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami as ‘naivedyam’ or ‘prasadam’ for offering to the deities. Speaking of the health benefits, this tangy drink is a natural body cooler and therefore is perfect for beating the sweltering summer heat.
