Owl Sandwich

This is a very basic recipe and can be easily put together for an easy fun meal. Play around with veggies of your choice and create different backgrounds with differently coloured ingredients. Create your own version and upload it here for other moms to learn.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice bread (any type)
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 olive
  • 1 slice cucumber
  • 1 bunch of lettuce

Method

Step 1

Mildly toast the bread. Use two and make a sandwich if your kid has the munchies!

Step 2

Slice the egg.

Step 3

Cut the carrot, cucumber and olives for the owl’s eyes, feet, nose, wings and feathers.

Step 4

Arrange all the ingredients and serve.
