Mix veg soup for babies

Introduce veggies to your bub by the age of 4-6 months and throw all the already introduced veggies into a soup to make a mix veg soup for babies. Here’s a recipe to refer to. Just in case any of the recipe vegetables are not tried before, replace it with a tested one. This soup is a true multi-vitamin delicacy, rich in vitamins A and C, and folic acid too.

Ingredients 

  • 1/4 cup chopped cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup peeled and chopped bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
  • 1/4 cup peeled and chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup chopped and deseeded tomatoes

Method

Step 1

Combine the veggies with 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Step 2

Open the lid after steam escapes completely.

Step 3

Allow to cool slightly and blend in a mixer till smooth.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture into a deep non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.

Step 5

Serve lukewarm.
