  • Leftover rice – 4 medium size bowls
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tablespoons
  • Groundnut  – ¼ bowl
  • Channa Dal or Toor Dal – 2 tablespoons

  • Capsicum – 1, small
  • Carrot – 1, small
  • Tomato – 1, medium
  • Turmeric – ½ tablespoon

Method

  • Wash the vegetables and dice them up.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the groundnut and dal.
  • Once they are slightly brown, add the onion and green chilli.
  • After the onions turn light brown, add the vegetables, turmeric powder and chilli powder.
