The Fruit & Nut bars are ideal after school snacks. Unlike processed sweets, this bar packs in a lot of nutrition. Customize the bar according to your preference for fruits and nuts. Flavorful, hearty and just the right amount of sweetness – a perfectly healthy sweet snack!

Ingredients

  • 20 g cashews
  • 20 g almonds
  • 20 g pistachios
  • 20 g macadamia
  • 20 g walnuts
  • 20 g pitted prunes
  • 20 g pitted cranberries
  • 20 g seedless dates
  • 20 g cherry, pitted
  • 20 g figs, pitted
  • 20 g raisins, pitted
  • 20 g blueberry, pitted
  • 20 g apricot, pitted

Method

Step 1

Combine the nuts and dried fruit in a food processor or blender

Step 2

Keep pausing in between to check the consistency of the mixture. The mixture should just be broken up and not churned completely

Step 3

Put the mixture into a thick glass bowl lined with butter paper and press into a firm layer.

Step 4

Chill for at least 3-5 hours

Step 5

Divide into bars

Step 6

Wrap each bar in plastic wrap or wax paper and store in the fridge
