Sending Your Child to Preschool for the First Time

Seeing your child take a new stride in their life is always a great first-time experience. However, it is a little challenging to separate them from oneself for a few hours. Furthermore, some children find it quite difficult to attend school for the first time. They are anxious to be separated from their parents, particularly their moms, who have spent their whole lives. Their world revolves around family, and the house acts as a safe place for them. I’m having too much trouble sending my little one to preschool.

Here are some tips I am sharing that I gained with my experience.

1. Begin to explain to them that they will be going to school to play without Mumma.

2. They’ll get new toys, new friends, and, most importantly, a teacher who loves them as much as Mumma does.

3. Create an atmosphere in the house where everyone goes out from home when the father goes to work.

4. Most significantly, children will always do what they see their parents doing. As a result, you can utilise a tactic such as the father dropping both mother and the child from school. The mother should come in first, followed by the child. Trust me; it works; in my situation, when my child sees me heading to school, he smiles.

5. Send the child preferably with his father or mother, with whom he is more at ease and with whom he is less likely to weep while out.

6. Show him that his colony friends and cousins are also attending the school; this will also work.

Hopefully, these tips help you, people, too.

All the very best, parents of toddlers!
