Make the baby accustomed to your daily routine; for example, if it’s morning, make him feel bright by turning on the light if the room isn’t well ventilated. Switch off the lights at night and keep a dim bed light on to give the baby the impression that it is night. Start doing the things listed earlier to help the infant establish a better sleep habit. This will help the baby and the mother feels comfortable with enough rest and sleep.
No one is allowed to enter the baby room during the first month since the newborn lacks the necessary resistance to fight any infection. Allow the baby to wear light, comfortable clothing during the summer. If it’s cold outside, dress the baby in clothes that keep them warm. Before going to bed, make sure there are no mosquitos in the baby’s room. To keep the baby room clean, make sure you clean it twice a day. Give the baby an oil massage twice a day, in the morning and evening, to help him become stronger over time.
Note: Make the baby’s bed warm, but not too warm, as this can affect the baby’s health. If you’re a breastfeeding mother, feed the baby by sitting instead of bending down throughout the first month to avoid milk getting into the ears, which can cause health concerns.
