Tips for Weight Again of a One-Year-Old

Hello there, happy mommies!

Being a mother is the best gift that comes with a roller coaster of emotions and a well-balanced mixture of happiness, perplexity, anxiety, excitement, and everything else, especially if you are a first-time mother.
My son’s birth weight was 3.75 kg, which was a great start, and over the next three months, he gained 1kg per month, which made me extremely glad to see his plump chicks and beautiful figure. However, by the time he turned one, he weighed roughly 7 kilogrammes. Between those times, my entire family was afflicted with covid. So, after reading many articles and watching recipes for weight gain, I tried to stay calm and made a specific diet chart for him, but I didn’t achieve good results. I kept changing his plans and timetables, and his weight began to rise. So I wondered whether I might assist other mothers in my situation. Since my baby has no allergies, the items I’m providing here are appropriate for him. However, before introducing any new component to your child for the first time, please ensure that it is appropriate for your child. So, here are some suggestions that worked for my child and me.
So here are some tips which worked for my baby.
1. Beat the clock
You should know your child’s best schedule by the age of one to ensure that he gets enough rest and playtime. Set a fixed time gap between his feedings and stick to it.
2. Full Breakfast
I tried oats porridge, oats, mung dal, rice dosa, rava upma, poha, and other breakfast options, but I always added one or two dates and fruit or milk (either one or both) to round out the meal. In addition, I always make sure to use lots of homemade ghee when making sweet meals with dried fruits powder.
3. Everything is fine
I arranged his dinner and lunch so that he would get grains, vegetables, and protein-rich foods in both. For example, if lunch consists of roti with green sabji and salad, dinner should include dal, egg, or meat as a protein source. Snacks, breakfast, and meals should all be well-balanced.
4. Inspire hunger
Toddlers are a never-ending source of energy. It would be best if you were shocked at how your little one can play for hours on end without getting tired, but that’s what childhood is all about. I’ve seen that the more active a baby is, the more food they need. Make time for outside play at least four times a week, if not every day. If that isn’t possible, there are plenty of indoor things you can do with your child to keep them busy. It will increase their appetite.
5. Variation is the Key
If your youngster began throwing tantrums while eating, it could be due to sickness. With the same materials, you may make a variety of dishes, such as egg boiled, bhurji, or omelette. Rava can be served as porridge, upma, dosa, and other dishes. I hope that these tips will assist you in developing your infant diet plan. I’d love to know if you notice a difference, so please let me know.
Have a wonderful day ahead of you.
