Being a Stay-At-Home-Mom Is Not Easy But Rewarding!
Journey of a woman from being a working mom to SAHM. Swara was working in a reputed company. Her life changed when she became a mother. She left the job for her baby. Her decision did not go well with anyone except her husband, Varun. In spite of knowing that this very step will enhance their financial burden. He took her wife’s side strongly. Here, her new journey starts.
Now, she doesn’t need an alarm to wake up. Because her baby stays her mom up the whole night. This was just the beginning. Now home is her new workplace and here boss is her little baby. Previously, she dealt with HR projects, now her project name is ‘Mission diaper’. Sounds funny! Doesn’t it??
SAHM needs to be motivated and active all day long. If she is going through sickness, no matter what she needs to be attentive towards her little one. In this job, there is no monetary but internal satisfaction. Your baby’s smile is your incentive. There is no off day.
You feel completely cut off from the outer world. You are busy in getting expertise in this job ‘how to manage a kid without losing your mind’. But this expertise has no value in the working world. Sometimes, doubting your own decision of choosing the role of Stay-At-Home- Mom over Working Mom was right. This one sounds little depressive. But I think most of the SAHM goes through this phase. Swara was also going through this.
Next morning, waking up with a smile and new energy with no regrets shows mom’s real strength. This journey is full of different emotions. A study has found, putting your child first will give you immense happiness. It’s more rewarding than anything in this world. And if you are lucky enough to have a partner like Varun then you happily board this roller coaster ride.
So, ladies fasten your seat belt and steer this adventurous ride. Happy Motherhood! ?
