She was a princess at home, the only girl in the family, she lived in her cocoon guarded by her parents and siblings, always in her dream world, they ate together, they shared everything with each other ,they were together as a family through thick and thin ,nothing was there to trouble her, always happy, always contented, always smiling.
And then, it was time to get her married. They found her the best man. A true gentleman. Someone who knew her better than she herself does, as she had always wished for, he became her best friend, she was his Queen, they were happy together.
But, something was missing, the house which was now hers was merely a house and not a home, for people there never spoke to each other, they never laughed together, they never ate together as they did at her house. ( They said theirs was an idle family. God alone knows what happened ).They were a set of strangers living under one roof, always glued to the TV. She missed her house, she missed dinner time at home.
She tried to work things out but people were stubborn with their thoughts, she was backslashed and blamed for creating trouble in the family.
She didn’t want her kids to continue the same pattern of life so, she made a promise, that her children would always have meals together, share their day, rag each other, pull their leg and have fun conversations during those meals. She believed – A family that eats together stays together!!!
She promised to show them a world beyond TV, a world of sharing and caring, a world of helping each other, a world of being there for each other. A world of respect and trust.
She promised to give them a beautiful happy family!!!
