  • Cut the black chart paper into a cat face to fit your child’s face.
  • Cut out holes near the nose and eyes for your child to breathe and see respectively.

  • Use the yellow or black paint to colour the top one-third of the page to show hair on both papers.
  • Using the black sketch pen, guide your child in drawing eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows on both papers.
  • Using the red sketch pen, you can ask your child to draw a smile on one of the papers to show a happy mask and a frown on the other to show sadness.

  • Use the black paint to lightly paint over the top portion of the mask to show hair. Then draw a line across the forehead of the mask with a small vertical line along to make it look like a stitch mark.
